The discovery of the TombKing Tut Ankh Amon's tomb remained undisturbed for more
than 3,000 years until it was unearthed in November 1922 by Howard
Carter, an
amateur archeologist commissioned by the English nobleman Lord Carnarvon to find
it. Carter's discovery was due largely to luck; having exhausted a number of
other leads, he finally decided to dig in a rocky patch of ground between the
tombs of three other pharaohs. Three feet under the soil he found the first of a
series of 16 steps, which led down to a sealed stone door. Markings on the door
confirmed that it was a royal tomb. Realizing what he had discovered, Carter
ordered the steps buried again, and wired Lord Carnarvon in London to join him. In the year 1922, Howard Carter had the original Atlantis ring in his posession, when he did the probably most spectacular discovery of the 20th century, as he opened the grave of Tut Ankh Amon. Lord Carnarvon was exited with the discovery, after all he paid for the job, and Howard Carter worked for him. Lord Carnarvon however couldn’t enjoy the discovery for long. He died shortly afterwards, through a very mysterious incident. The same happened with a number of others involved in opening the grave. Was there a curse taking effect? Howard Carter lived for a lot of years afterwards. The reason was probably the Atlantis ring that was in his possession, he admitted later He had the Atlantis ring on his finger, while opening that Pharaoh’s grave.Links: Don't forget to order your Atlantis ring, today.
